Wix and Prezi

Wix is an online program for making Flash web projects for free. It’s like a combination of a website, a PowerPoint and Prezi. What? Oh, what’s Prezi? It’s an online presentation editor where presentations are on a single, endless canvas inside of slides. You can pan around to view text, videos, photos and more. Here’s a sample:

<object id=”prezi_1308490e61e020481f5d32674962283ec81003f8″ name=”prezi_1308490e61e020481f5d32674962283ec81003f8″ classid=”clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000″ width=”550″ height=”400″><param name=”movie” value=”http://prezi.com/bin/preziloader.swf”/><param name=”allowfullscreen” value=”true”/><param name=”allowscriptaccess” value=”always”/><param name=”bgcolor” value=”#ffffff”/><param name=”flashvars” value=”prezi_id=1308490e61e020481f5d32674962283ec81003f8&amp;lock_to_path=0&amp;color=ffffff&amp;autoplay=no&amp;autohide_ctrls=0″/><embed id=”preziEmbed_1308490e61e020481f5d32674962283ec81003f8″ name=”preziEmbed_1308490e61e020481f5d32674962283ec81003f8″ src=”http://prezi.com/bin/preziloader.swf” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” allowfullscreen=”true” allowscriptaccess=”always” width=”550″ height=”400″ bgcolor=”#ffffff” flashvars=”prezi_id=1308490e61e020481f5d32674962283ec81003f8&amp;lock_to_path=0&amp;color=ffffff&amp;autoplay=no&amp;autohide_ctrls=0″></embed></object>

O-kay, that didn’t work. I tried to “embed” my sample but that mess of HTML is the only thing I see. But try this direct link.

Cool, huh? But Wix is slightly different. It’s more like a website. And not a huge canvas. It is also SLOW. I’m doing a science project with it and it’s slow. It won’t load or the application crashes. I hope I can hand it in on time. Wish me luck…
